I tried church before, but it didn’t work for me. What went wrong?

Have you tried going to church, but felt it just “wasn’t for you” so you abandoned it altogether? Ask yourself this: Did I read the Bible? Did I have an open heart to what I was being taught? Did I deeply think about what I was learning about Jesus and other topics?  

Perhaps you felt you went in already having faith. Re-examine yourself: Did I ever ask Jesus to come into my life? Did I truly put my faith in Him? Was I chasing religion or a relationship with Jesus Christ?
