Friday was filled with blessings for Kristen. She got to bypass the long lines, she got great seats without even trying, and she was able to worship to some of her favorite music in a stadium filled with people doing the same thing! But the best part of her night came when she received confirmation that the trial she is going through is not in vain.

Kristen’s been a Christian for over 20 years. She has two beautiful children and one on the way, but her husband has fallen away from the Lord, and it hurts. But sharing her story has helped her to realize that she can encourage and inspire others going through the same thing. “How can I use what I’m going through to give hope to others? By reminding them that there is hope in the Lord. God knows what’s best for me, so I need to keep doing what I know is best before the Lord, and never give up on God because He’ll give me what I need. I can lose trust in people, but not in God.”

As she gets a breather from the crowd and tends to her rambunctious kids outside, she explains why she loves coming to the Harvest Crusades. “I feel excited to be here, I’m at peace, and I feel hopeful surrounded by people who love the Lord.” She knows things are hard right now, but she’s trusting in the Lord for her future, and encourages others to do the same.
