We’ve all been hearing of the devastating wildfires consuming thousands of homes, acres, and more right in the backyard of our two churches in Southern California.
Entire communities have been left in need.
Immediately, we set up the Harvest Relief Fund, like we did amid the Maui disaster. And through your support of our relief efforts, we’ve been able to accomplish so much in a short time.
Tangible Support
We have partnered with organizations like Samaritan’s Purse and united churches across Southern California to provide immediate needs like food and shelter.
We have also distributed generators, supplies, and hygiene kits. And we’re helping with cleanup in areas hit hardest by the fires.
Spiritual Support
In addition to tangible support, we have been able to offer spiritual support. We have set up prayer stations and distributed Bibles for those impacted.
We will also have an event called Hope for Los Angeles, where we will share God’s love and tell people how to come into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Support Our Efforts
If you would like to join our relief efforts and send your support to those in need, go to harvest.org/relief. In the name of Jesus Christ, we will continue bringing help and hope.
Just like in the days of Nehemiah, when the walls of Jerusalem were lying in charred rubble, they had to rebuild again. And we are going to rebuild as well.
It is my hope that people will come to put their faith in Jesus Christ through all this heartache and loss. Let’s pray to that end and that the fires come to a stop.
Thank you so much.
