On July 1–2, 32,500 people flocked to the Honda Center for a memorable time of worship, fellowship, and new beginnings at the 2023 Harvest Crusade. We were also joined by 215,317 others online!
Though the annual event is popularly tied to Angel Stadium, we took the 34th year’s down the road to Honda Center. Pastor Greg Laurie described it as an “incredible immersive worship experience” and the “most effective evangelistic event we perhaps have ever had,” with many being turned away after every seat was filled in the arena—on both nights.
Whether in-person or online, the electric, God-filled atmosphere was hard to miss. Hands were lifted high in worship led by Phil Wickham, Passion, and Taya on night one and Harvest Worship, Chris Tomlin, and Michael W. Smith during night two.
Pastor Greg Laurie finished night one with a message titled “Jesus & You” and night two with another called “Good News in a Bad World.” The central theme of both nights was “Jesus Changes Everything,” a fitting one, as the weekend ended with 3,735 in-person and 3,059 online decisions to follow Christ and begin a new life!
To God be the glory for all He’s done at these events our nation so badly needs!
There was an electric, revival-like atmosphere in that room both nights. You could sense God’s presence. I want to thank all of those that worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this as many described it as the best Harvest Crusade of all time.
