Did you know The Second Coming is mentioned over 1800 times in the Old Testament and 300 times in the New Testament? At the Second Coming, Jesus will come back to the earth to judge His enemies, set up His kingdom, and rule over the earth for 1,000 years. He’s going to be very busy! So we should be making it our business to do what we can right now for the future. As Christians, we can prepare right now so that when we face the judgment seat of Christ, we can be confident in our faith and works.

Application

You can have works without faith, but you cannot have real faith without works. After the rapture and before the Second Coming, we will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ. Judgment is not God’s “happy place.” God is too good not to punish sin. We are in the race of life, and we must run to win.

• The Second Coming of Christ will be public and seen by all.
• The Second Coming of Christ will be accompanied by sadness and weeping.
• Jesus is coming to bring righteous retribution and vengeance.
