Many do not really understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus. When Jesus put His team together. They were quite ordinary, hopelessly human, and remarkably unremarkable. Simon and Andrew had been disciples of John the Baptist. James and John, the Sons of Thunder are also called. Mark’s details indicate the testimony of an eyewitness, probably Peter.
