Pastor Greg Laurie shares a message from Revelation 5-6 titled “The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” at our Sunday Morning Service for Harvest At Home.
Sermon Notes
Did you know that when Jesus came to this Earth, He came to purchase back what was lost in the Garden? Revelation 5:2 a question is asked, “Who is worthy to open the Book?”
Let’s take a look at the Four Horsemen
The first Horseman of the Apocalypse is none other than the Antichrist. Antichrist not only means, “against,” it also means, “instead of.” The Devil can do nothing without God’s permission. Next is The War Horse, the War Horse is fiery red. The Pale Horse and the Black Horse of death, plagues, and misery follow.
Application
There are over 100 passages that detail the origin, nationality, career, character, kingdom, and final doom of Antichrist. The Antichrist will come at economically hard times. He will bring global economic stability and global peace. It says in the Bible “Through peace, he will deceive many.” The only thing that is holding the Antichrist back is the Church.
Lets take a look at the key differences between Antichrist and Jesus Christ
Antichrist
- Carries a bow without arrows.
- Wears a victor’s crown.
- Initiates war
- Inaugurates the Great Tribulation Period.
Jesus Christ
- Has a mighty sword.
- Wears many crowns.
- Comes to end war.
- Ends the Great Tribulation Period.
