What is the “mark of the beast”? What is the significance of the number 666? Pastor Greg examines what the Book of Revelation has to say about the Antichrist’s mark, used to control commerce during the Tribulation Period.
Application
The mark is the future, not the past or even the present. The mark is a visible, literal brand of sorts. The mark is given as a sign of devotion to Antichrist and as a passport to commerce. Antichrist will introduce a cashless society, requiring people to take a mark. But what is his endgame?
- Antichrist is coming to deify Satan.
- Antichrist is coming to defy and take the place of Jesus.
- Antichrist’s time and reign will be limited.
- Antichrist is coming to kill Christians.
“The knowledge of the Lord will fill the earth.” We all have the choice to believe God or believe the lie. Following Jesus is something we do each and every day.
