What Is ‘Beyond House of David’? My Prime Video Series Shares the Gospel with Millions.

I’m thrilled to share with you that the next three—and final—episodes of Beyond House of David are now here. In other words—the gospel is now on Prime Video! You can also watch the completed series on our Harvest+ app.

What Is ‘Beyond House of David’?

Beyond House of David is a special bonus series to House of David, an epic new show that’s bringing David’s story to life and, currently, Prime Video’s second most-watched show. That’s an amazing feat when you consider all the content on a massive platform like Prime Video!

I had the incredible opportunity to shoot this series in Greece, which has beautiful scenery very similar to Israel’s.

In this series, you will see me sit down with the cast and crew for untold stories and tour the breathtaking sets that truly replicate the time David lived in. 

But, most importantly, I share the powerful messages from the life of David—the man after God’s own heart. I take the biblical stories shared in House of David and apply them to our own lives. You’ll see I deal with topics like finding your identity in Christ, grappling with fear, and share how the Lord wants to be your shepherd.  

Episode 3 is especially powerful. It deals with the theme of facing our giants, and at the end of the episode, I present the gospel. I even include a prayer for anyone ready to receive Jesus Christ into their life. 

Use This Series to Share About Jesus

Here’s an idea. Invite some people to your house to watch an episode of House of David, then show them those episodes of Beyond House of David. This is a great evangelistic opportunity. In fact, I think this is one of the greatest opportunities the church has had for evangelism in a long time. It is Christian filmmaking at its very best, created by Jon Erwin, the same creator of Jesus Revolution.

And amazingly, over 20 million people have already watched House of David.

The cinematography is amazing, and the acting is mind-blowing. I encourage you to watch and pray with us. Pray that many hearts will be touched and lives will be changed as we reach unexpected people, in unexpected places, with an unexpected message—the gospel!
