Steven Curtis Chapman is coming to Harvest!

by Greg Laurie on Nov 5, 2009

Yes, it’s true, legendary Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman is coming to perform at Harvest Christian Fellowship on Sunday, November 15, at 6:00 P.M.

This will not be just a concert, however. It will be a very special event.

We are calling it An Evening of Hope. Steven will perform songs from his brand new CD Beauty Will Rise, and I will share thoughts from Scripture on the topics of tragedy, suffering, hope, and heaven.

As you may know,Both Steven and I  share a common bond of having our children go to be with the Lord in 2008. But out of our pain, we will offer hope and encouragement to any person who is hurting.

The holidays are hard for some

For many, the holiday season can be a difficult time.

Some people have loved ones who have passed on this year. For others, their struggles with failing health, broken families, and other trials seem to be amplified in the Christmas season.

That is why this event is so significant.

Beauty Will Rise

You need to get or download Steven’s new CD Beauty Will Rise. I have never heard anything quite like it. These songs have weight and substance and will touch your heart and mind.

Steven and I will talk together about the hope we have found in our relationship with Jesus Christ, in spite of the unspeakable tragedies we both have had to face.

No charge

This special event will not be ticketed. It is free to the public on a first-come, first-seated basis.

I suggest you arrive early and join us for an event that I believe will bring a much-needed message of encouragement to many who need to hear it. I also think that this will be a great event to bring a non-believing friend to, also.

So pass the word, and I will see you there!

P.S. If you are unable to make it, we will also stream An Evening of Hope live at harvest.org.
