May 28–29, 2021, we’re hosting an online-only Harvest Men’s Conference—designed exclusively to address God’s unique calling on men and to encourage them to be the leaders they need to be. I’ll be joined by guest speakers Darryl Strawberry, Michael Franzese, and Pastor Levi Lusko.

We hosted this Harvest Men’s Conference at our church in Southern California, and we heard such incredible feedback from those who attended. God’s Unique Calling on Men

I believe that men today have an amazing opportunity for the future of America. So often, people look to politicians and other leaders to solve the problems of our nation. But if you look carefully at the statistics, many of the problems we have in America today are because of broken homes.

You can trace so many social ills today—people who end up in detention centers, people who use drugs, people who end up as alcoholics—to the problem of broken homes. But it’s not just broken homes. It’s specifically fatherless homes.

What is God calling men to do? If you’re a married man, God is calling you to be the spiritual leader in your household. That means you set the example in reading the Word of God, leading the family in prayer, and bringing your family to church. You’re called to be the leader in the home because that’s the structure that God has designed.

In fact, the very foundation and example of a husband’s love for his wife is Christ’s love for the church. The apostle Paul writes, “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church” (Ephesians 5:25–33 NKJV). A wife’s response to her husband’s love comes as a result of a man doing his part.

Moses was called the “man of God” (Deuteronomy 33:1), and I can’t think of a greater compliment for any man. Be a man of God in your marriage. Be a man of God as a father—and as a grandfather.
