Inviting Someone to the Harvest Crusade: Where to Begin

by Greg Laurie on Jun 23, 2023

You know, one of the hardest things about sharing your faith is getting the conversation started. I think a great place to begin is with your personal story.

People can try to argue your facts and theological stance, but not your personal experience. They can’t argue against what God has done for you. We all have a testimony (a story of how we came to believe in Jesus).

It’s so simple. There’s a man in the Bible who was healed by Jesus and he said “‘…I was blind, and now I can see’” (John 9:25 NLT). That’s your testimony. It’s as simple as that.

What did you used to be like? What happened? What are you like now? How can it happen for someone else? Start there and then you start breaking down the essential message of the gospel.

I want to encourage any of you in the Southern California area to mark those dates, July 1–2, for the Harvest Crusade at Honda Center. I’m going to be sharing the gospel message for two nights and telling people how to come into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Bring someone you care about to hear this important message!

The way they are going to get to that arena is if you invite and bring them. Even if you live somewhere further, you can still be part of these powerful nights by attending online and inviting someone to watch the live broadcast with you!

Let’s do our part to get that conversation started. Try to do it with someone before next weekend’s event!
