Dr. Jordan Peterson & Greg Laurie Discuss Faith Through Grief

Just recently, I had the great opportunity to sit down with Dr. Jordan Peterson for a podcast episode. Dr. Peterson is a very influential figure with more than 8 million YouTube subscribers, as well as millions more that watch him on the various platforms that he’s on. He’s a father figure to a whole generation that maybe didn’t have good dads growing up and need someone to tell them the basics of life. 

I’ve never been to a psychologist before, but as I was talking with Dr. Peterson and unfolding my story, it felt like it was my first—very public—appointment. He was such a great listener and asked great questions. And he had insightful observations. He also has a deep interest and love for the Bible.

We talked a lot about the meaning of life, the afterlife, and lots more. Here is a clip where I share how God came through for me after my son died.

Dr. Peterson is one of the great minds of our generation and it truly was an honor to spend time with him. He’ll talk about pretty much anything, and he has so much to say on so many topics. 

I really appreciated how he let me tell my story. In the process of telling it, I was able to share how Jesus Christ has changed my life and what it means to come into a relationship with Him.
