10,000 Baptized After 3rd Annual Jesus Revolution Baptism

On August 16, we baptized 2,100 people at the 3rd Annual Jesus Revolution Baptism. That means we’ve baptized a total of 10,000 people through our church and outreach baptism events—in just two years.

People from across the country came down to publicly declare their faith at Pirate’s Cove, with lines stretching across the beach. 

One man and his wife traveled all the way from Utah just to be baptized. He came to Christ after watching the Jesus Revolution film and now joins us each Sunday through Harvest at Home, our online church experience. And I met so many others with similar stories. 

This Jesus Revolution Baptism follows one of our most powerful Harvest Crusades. On July 19, Angel Stadium was at full capacity with a crowd of over 45,000, and we ended the night with more than 6,500 professions of faith. 

God Is at Work

I have to tell you, even at the peak of the Jesus Movement 50 years ago, we never saw anything like this. God is clearly at work, and I believe we’re seeing true signs of revival.

I certainly pray we’re on our way to another great awakening, because Jesus is the only true hope for each generation.
