Adrian and Nayelly

Adrian, 18, and Nayelly, 19, are adorbale! Walking hand in hand up to their seats at the SoCal Harvest, it’s obvious they really care about each other. "We’ve been dating for one month!" says Adrian. Tonight they are serving together in the Spanish Ministry of Cosecha as decision follow-up volunteers for the many Spanish speakers who will be making commitments to follow Jesus.

Both raised in strong Christian homes, they still had a moment in their lives where they both knew they had to make a decision on their own to follow God with all of their hearts. "I committed my life to Jesus at my very first SoCal Harvest," says Adrian. "I loved Greg’s preaching because it was simple, I connected easily with it, and it was what I needed to hear in order to be saved."

For Nayelly, it was the death of her mother 3 years ago that brought her into a deeper relationship with Jesus. "My mother’s passing hit me very hard, and I knew that if I ever wanted to see her again, I had to get serious in my walk. In doing so, I was able to find peace and hope, especially in knowing that we will be reunited one day in heaven!"

She may be young, but Nayelly offers some great advice for those who are "looking" to date. She says, "The trick is to NOT look; wait on the Lord and He will bring you the right person in His perfect timing."
