Parents observe that there often seems to be an extra child living in the home called, “Not Me.” “Who spilled cereal all over the floor?” “Not me.” “Who left the water running in the bathroom sink?” “Not me.” Never seen that kid named Not Me but he sure gets around. No, kids learn early on that denial may just work!
