“Lila is our guardian angel,” Cianna, 30, said. “Whatever we need, or whenever we need her, she is there for us.”
Cianna and Aaron, 42, speak very highly of Lila. It is because of her they are at the SoCal Harvest tonight. Lila runs a program called “Laundry Love” that washes clothing for the homeless. She also feeds them, clothes them, gives them blankets and tents, and teaches them about Jesus.
Cianna is seven months pregnant, and Aaron and she live under the 110 bridge with other homeless in the community.
“It’s a hard life. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone,” said Cianna. “But Lila is always there helping us. She tells us that we matter; she shows us that she cares for us.”
Aaron agrees, “She preaches that all things are possible with God, and we have a purpose in this life.”
They are here tonight to hear from God, to know more about Him, and be encouraged. They both believe He can change their lives and their circumstances. Aaron’s advice for others who may be in a similar situation is, “Never give up! Don’t lose hope! Set a goal, stay positive, and don’t let yourself down.”
They welcome your prayers for them as they continue to learn about a Savior who loves them, and for the health of Cianna’s sweet baby on the way!
