Heaven or Hell?

Enrique told himself four months ago, “It all comes down to this. Where do you want to end up? Heaven or hell?”

His answer brought him to the SoCal Harvest tonight.

Enrique walked away from a homosexual lifestyle after two years.

“It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. It was tearing me apart inside. I didn’t want to hurt [my partner], but I saw where I was heading. I used to live a Christian life, but I ended up on the wrong path filled with drugs, drinking, and sex. It’s a miracle I’m still here. Even though I still struggle with temptation, pornography, anxiety attacks, and the fear of falling back into the same old sin, I remind myself that I can’t serve both the world and God.”

This weekend, Enrique was out street witnessing and inviting people to the SoCal Harvest. One of those people was his 23-year-old brother Magik, who jokingly says, “Enrique dragged me here tonight!” Magik’s mother tried her best to keep him in church, but he had a disobedient heart and was always getting into trouble. Tonight, he is here because he’s waiting for something; he’s just not sure what it is yet, but he said he’s open to whatever God has for him. Enrique hopes it will be a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
