The Best Is Yet To Come

by Greg Laurie on Jul 24, 2021

Pastor Greg Laurie shares a message from Revelation 22 titled “The Best is Yet to Come” at our Sunday Morning Service for Harvest At Home.

Sermon Notes

“Behold, I am coming quickly.”

We must keep His word and we must do His work. Our objective is not to conform Scripture to the changing culture, but to conform culture to Scripture. There are two words in the Bible that show us what our focus as Christians should be: The first word is come, and the second word is go. Why should we keep these words? Because they are faithful and true.

Application

The blessing is promised to those who read and hear the words of this prophecy. Reading Revelation energizes and excites you to know that God is in control. The blessing is promised to those who keep the things which are written in it. Whenever you read about what the Bible says about the future, there is an exhortation to live a godly life. We learn about the future to motivate us to live right in the present.

  • Heaven and the New Earth are a place of satisfaction.
  • Heaven and the New Earth are a place of sufficiency.
  • Heaven and the New Earth are a place of service.

The closing verses of the Bible make it perfectly clear that salvation is a matter of the will.
