Pastor Greg Laurie shares a message from Revelation 11-12 titled “How to Overcome the Devil” at our Sunday Morning Service for Harvest At Home.
Sermon Notes
Did you know that the Bible teaches that in the Last Days, Jerusalem will be the center of End Times events? For that to happen, Jerusalem must be in Jewish hands and the Third Temple must be rebuilt. Antichrist will help the Jews rebuild their Temple then desecrate it. The devil will seek to overcome the Saints, but the Bible says “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
Application
Every Christian has a testimony, but the question is are you overcoming the devil or are you being overcome by the devil? It is through the blood of the Lamb that we can even approach God and find the help we need. Satan doesn’t want you to know that there is forgiveness through Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit seeks to convict or convince us of our sin.
The Bible says
- They overcame the devil by the word of their testimony.
- They did not love their lives to the death.
- They overcame the devil by the blood of the Lamb.

Can the claims of Christianity stand up to scrutiny? Cold-case detective J. Warner Wallace applied his investigative skills to the Bible and discovered compelling evidence that led him from atheism to faith. In Cold Case Christianity, he walks through how detectives separate truth from fiction and why the Gospels pass every test. Get your copy when you give today.
