We should live every day as though it were our LAST DAY on Earth as well. Someone once Asked Dwight L. Moody, “If you knew the Lord would Return Tonight, how would you Spend the Rest of the Day?” Moody replied without Hesitation, “I wouldn’t Do Anything Different than I Do Every Day.”An understanding of End Times Teaching will Cause us TO LIVE GODLY LIVES. If our Belief in the Imminent Return of Christ does not Affect our Lifestyles we have completely missed the point.
Watching for the Lord’s return will help us prepare our own lives, but working will ensure we bring others with us. Looking for Christ’s return is not a miserable, repressive, confining way to live; it’s a happy, joyful, purposeful way to live.
The gospel is more important than anything; it’s more important than our programs, our preferences, our priorities, even our politics. We should be praying for revival before Christ returns. If we want to see an awakening, we must pray with passion!
- We should be shining lights in a dark place.
- We are to be watching for Him.
- We are to be ready to go.
- We should be anxiously awaiting His return.
- We are to be working.
