Every one of us has or will face severe hardships and temptations in life. And when these struggles come, they can often seem to be a lot bigger than we are. But we can find hope in the fact that God is greater than any obstacle we come across.
Application
1. We all have giants.
- While it is true, we all have giants; it is also true that every giant is defeatable.
- Goliath was not always a giant
2. The battle belongs to the Lord.
- Only through God’s strength can we win spiritual battles and defeat our giants
3. Attack your giants.
- If you tolerate a Goliath, it will take over your territory
4. Finish the giant off!
- Jesus’ victory is our victory because we are in Christ
