In this webcast, Cathe Laurie joins friends Melanie Brown and Taylor Anderson for “Girl Talk Episode 2,” on Harvest at Home.
While there are many things we cannot do when we’re stuck at home, what can we learn from our current circumstances? Hurry can hurt us spiritually, and sometimes God allows difficult circumstances to help us to slow down—to give us an “imposed Sabbath rest.” God has not left us without resources, and He can shoulder your burdens for you. Jesus says, “Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life” (Revelation 22:17 NLT). Through testing and trials God makes women of faith.
Use this difficult season that God has allowed to grow our faith:
- His kindness can lead to repentance, but our kindness can lead others to Him.
- If we spend time reading our Bibles, we will find comfort from believers who have endured trials before.
- Worship may not change your circumstances, but it changes you.
- Take joy in the salvation that Jesus provides for you!
