In this time, when people make resolutions, we need a revolution. The fame of revival spreads the flame of revival. But did you now that before awakening can happen in America, it needs to start in the church. Before revival starts in the church, it needs to begin with you and me.
In the Bible, the Christian life is compared to a race. The successful Olympic athletes work out an average of four hours a day, 310 days a year, for six years, to compete for the gold. What is the secret to winning the race of life? What is the motive for continuing to run in the race of life? It’s Jesus! You will run well, knowing you are in good company. The same God who was their God is our God!
- We need to run this race to win.
- To win the race of life, you need to run light.
- If you want to move forward, you can’t look back.
- Trials are like God’s gym, where He is making us stronger!
- Christians who want to win the race of life run hard.
When God promises, “And their sins and iniquities I will remember no more”, He is not suggesting He is having a lapse in memory. To forget means we break the power of the past by living for the future! We need to forget the things that are behind, and not look back!
