We Had a Great Opening Night!
In a city with a reputation for being spiritually dark, the light of the gospel message shone brightly and God did an amazing work at the Key Arena during the opening night of the Seattle Harvest. We had fantastic music from Jeremy Camp, the Katinas, and Crystal Lewis. Many in the audience were moved to worship, and all were treated to a taste of the top Christian music that will permeate the remainder of the weekend.
Coach Lorenzo Romar, of the Washington Huskies, shared his powerful testimony, and I gave a message, titled “What Do You Live For?” When the invitation was extended to make a decision for Christ, many responded by walking down to the arena floor. In attendance at Key Arena were 10,000 people, and many more participated via the live webcast. In all, 1,116 people made a profession of faith through tonight’s event Please pray for those who made commitments or recommitments to the Lord this evening, as well as for those who have been invited to come on Saturday and Sunday.
Tonight the Key Arena Will Rock!
Tonight is designed especially for young people, and the musician line-up is sure to rock the arena: Kutless, Hawk Nelson, Revive, and Jeremy Camp will all be performing.
If you are in the area, be sure to come early to get a good seat. Gates open at 6:00 P.M.
