God of Healing

Does God still heal?

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit.” Psalm 103:2–4

This powerful scripture reminds us of the Lord’s lovingkindness and gives us hope that even when our lives may be going to pieces around us that God is there and will redeem us from our troubles. In the following video, you will witness a real-life miracle. Dwayne Miller was the Pastor of a Baptist Church in Texas, a talented preacher and a talented singer.

Pastor Miller was struck down by an illness that paralyzed his vocal cords. He saw the best doctors around the world and was told nothing could be done. He was left jobless and destitute, wondering why God had not healed him. One day he was called and asked to preach at his former Sunday school class. He hesitantly agreed. And then, as he preached the Word of God from Psalm 103, something miraculous happened! God restored his voice. Listen below to hear the miracle as it happens.

Pastor Miller having gone through trials and tribulations, he nevertheless came through on the other side due to the faithfulness of a loving God who “healed” him and rescued him from “the pit.”

If you are going through a hard time in your life, and it seems that there is no light to be seen, that God has abandoned you, take heart! And remember, that as 1 Peter 5:10 says, “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”

I think for many of us, we would admit that God can do miracles, but we wonder—Is God still doing miracles today? Is He intervening? Is He still active in the miracle business?
