Children
Prayer is as simple as talking to your best friend, and Jesus does want to be your very best friend. We have a prayer club to help you learn and grow in your prayer life.
ABC Prayer Club members receive a yearly membership card signed by Pastor Greg Laurie, an ABC Prayer Club magnet of Isee our Mascot, a monthly Prayer Journal and Newsletter in the mail. Every other month you will receive extra activities.
Remember: God answers all your prayers!
- Sometimes God's answer is yes.
When God answers yes, you see the answer right away. Example: When you ask mom for a cookie and she gives you one.
- Sometimes God's answer is wait.
He does not mean you should stop praying. God knows the very best time and way to answer your prayer. Example: You ask mom for a cookie and she tells you, you must wait until after dinner. She knows you won't eat the food that's good for you if you eat the cookie first.
- Sometimes God's answer is no.
When God answers no we must trust that because He is God, He knows best. He is not mad at you or punishing you. Example: You ask mom for a cookie and she says no. Maybe because you're sick, or she's making an even better dessert.
